At the head of Dyes Inlet, Silverdale is 3 miles south of the Trident Submarine Base. It has been at the heart of one of the fastest growth areas of Kitsap County. It is situated north of Bremerton and south of Poulsbo on Highway 3 on the west side of Puget Sound. Silverdale is part of the Bremerton, WA metro area.
