Squak Mountain State Park

Stipulation by the donors require the park remain in its natural state with no development of any kind, therefore, the park is wild and remote.

The 1,570-acre park is open to pedestrian traffic only and the trails provide beautiful views of the sweeping Issaquah Valley. Old mining rail trails are also visible.

The park boundaries cannot be reached by car. There are trails leading to the park from Issaquah.

The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
