Steptoe Butte State Park

Originally called "Pyramid Peak", the 3,612-foot natural monument provides outstanding views of surrounding farmlands, the Blue Mountains, and other area features. From the top of the butte, visitors can see for 200 miles.

The park features bird watching, hang-gliding, hiking, and picnicking.

The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
