Tenino is a small town steeped in history and rich in rustic rural charm. The downtown business district, city building, and several local residences are constructed of sandstone that was quarried in Tenino at the turn of the last century.

Tenino is east of Interstate 5 on Highway 507.

Tenino is part of the Olympia, WA metro area.
