Search Visit Washington

Toroda was once a flourishing mining camp, 4 miles northeast of Waconda. Settlers flocked to the area shortly after the opening of the Colville Indian Reservation. Toroda reached its peak in 1898, with the town population was 470.

Today, there are a few remaining log buildings where the boom town of Toroda once stood.
