Trapper Creek, a tributary of Wind River, consists of over 6,000 acres of habitat in the southwest part of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Wildflowers carpet the mountain meadows in the summer. Many different species of animals call the area home including black bears, cougars, black-tailed deer, and many more.
