Founded in 1973, Davidson Galleries is a full spectrum fine art gallery with three departments - Contemporary Painting and Sculpture, Contemporary Prints and Drawings, and Antique Prints. The Contemporary Painting and Sculpture department represents leading and emerging northwest artists, as well as artists of national and international stature. Contemporary Prints and Drawings center offers full portfolios by forty print artists and representative works by more than sixty additional artists, including some from Eastern Europe and Asia. The Antique Prints department maintains an extensive collection of original engravings, woodcuts, etchings, and lithographs dating from 1500 - 1950. Featured subject areas include old and modern masters, Japanese woodblocks, maps and views of the Northwest and the world, Indian miniatures and manuscript leaves, and naturalist prints. They also offer an appraisal service for original prints dating 1950 or earlier.
