The University of Washington is the center for study and research in Nanotechnology, offering cross discipline graduate courses in the field. It brings together faculty members and students from the arts, sciences, engineering, pharmacy, and medicine. The NanoTech User Facility (NUF)provides access to equipment to analyze samples at the nanoscale. It is also available to academic institutions, researchers, and industrial users as a Cost Center. Staff members provide training and support in the use of the sophisticated tools.
