Wehesville

Search Visit Washington

A great mining mill was built here, as well as a boarding house. The land grew as a farming community, with scattered ranches growing crops of wheat and oats. After a couple years of crop failure, the end of Wehesville was at hand.

Hikers enjoy nice trails and vistas, but find little trace of early habitation.
