This 93-mile trail, built in 1915, encircles Mount Rainier. The trail passes through alpine meadows, valley forests, and barren rock, and features magnificent views. Truly an experience of a lifetime.

Allow 2 weeks to traverse the entire trail. Camping is allowed only at designated campsites along the trail, and only with a backcountry permit.
