Founded in 1890 as the Land Grant University of the State of Washington, WSU is today a multi-campus research university offering study leading to bachelor, masters and doctoral degrees in more than 150 fields of study. The central campus in Pullman is located on 620 acres, plus an additional 4,200 acres in service area and farm land in the rich Palouse region of Eastern Washington.
Three campuses, located in Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver, offer upper-division and graduate study.
