Skamania County

Skamania County stretches miles back into the Gifford Pinchot National Forest from its comparatively short "waterfront" on the Columbia River. The main town and county seat is Stevenson. The Washington side of the Bonneville Dam is anchored in Skamania County near the town of North Bonneville. Throughout all of Skamania County, the area beside the Columbia River has been designated as the Columbia River Gorge Natl Scenic Area.
