De Pere is located in Brown County within the East Region, between Green Bay and Appleton along US Hwy 41 on the banks of the Fox River near Ashwaubenon, Allouez, and the Oneida Indian Reservation. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 19,479, an increase of 2,885 since 1990.
