Door County's picturesque and historic fruit-producing habitat provides an appropriate setting for the Door Peninsula winery. Orchards for the area produce the succulent fruit used in making the winery's highly regarded fruit wines, which visitors are welcome to sample in the tasting salon. Also offered for tasting is a selection of wine cheeses, wine jellies and wine mustards. Tours present the history of the old schoolhouse in which the winery operates and an explanation of the wine making process. Additionally, a short video presentation provides a more detailed examination of the traditional art of wine making. The winery is open daily, year round for tours and tasting.
