Linden's Gallery

Linden's Gallery is dedicated to rotating art exhibits and Asian objects d'art. They exhibit furniture, paintings, ceramics, architectural carvings, gifts, and jewelry. They have an exotic collection of jewelry ranging from fresh water pearls to Tibetan bone and turquoise, from Thai, Cambodian and Indian silver pieces to Central European amber. They have a collection of Kazakh and Turkoman rugs, as well as Kilims. The gallery is open from May to October.

"Kilim", a word of Turkish origin, denotes a pileless textile of many uses produced by one of several flatweaving techniques that have a common or closely related heritage and are practiced in the geographical area that includes parts of North Africa, the Balkans, Turkey (Anatolia and Thrace), the Caucasus, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Central Asia and China. Kilims are commonly known as Turkish rugs or Turkish carpets.
