The first public library in Germantown, Wisconsin, was opened in 1963, funded in part, by a generous donation from Emma Duerrwaechter. Through the years, the Germantown Community Library has grown from a collection of 2,000 volumes to over 80,000 volumes! The Library Board of Trustees and Staff have worked diligently to offer the Community materials and services in increasing number and scope.
