Kanopy Dance Company artists have received praise for their presentations of compelling choreography performed with dramatic physicality, elegance and humor.

Comprised of professional dancers and choreographers, Kanopy has developed an extensive repertoire, adding new creations with each concert season. Under the leadership of an Artistic Director, Kanopy encourages local, national and international creative artists (Choreographers, Composers, and other theatre artists) by bringing their work before wide audiences.

The company has resided for nearly 25 years in downtown Madison.

Kanopy also offers a dance school with summer programs for both children and adults.
