The Kettle Moraine State Forest Southern Unit is 30 miles long. The park begins in the village of Dousman, Wisconsin, and ends near the city of Whitewater. Created by a huge glacier, the park is 22,300 acres of rolling hills, forests and lakes.
The park boast 314 campsites for both summer and winter camping. There are 7 self guided nature trails, 57 hiking trails, 54 horse trails, 20 bike trails 56 snowmobile trails and 30 cross-country ski trails.
The lakes boast beautiful beaches for swimming, boat launches and excellent fishing. There are restrooms with showers and cabins for people with disabilities.
