Situated atop the famous Niagara Escarpment, Ledge View Nature Center overlooks an abundance of natural features. The park is a series of trails connecting rocky ledges, prairie land, sugar maples and caves. The Ledge View Nature Center offers a programs throughout the year including snowshoeing, cross country skiing, wildflower hikes, cave tours, canoe trips and bird watching.
After enjoying the outdoors, visit one of Ledge Views interactive exhibits. Visitors can learn about the creation and fossils of the Niagara Escarpment. Take a stroll through the Bat Barn to learn about Wisconsin's bats, see a live bat, and learn about echolocation and hibernation.
The center sits on 105 acres of woodland and prairie and has approximately 2 miles of hiking and skiing trails, a 60-foot observation tower, picnic area, arboretum and butterfly garden and 3 caves to explore.
