Founded in 1977, this organization was known for its presentation of a longtime favorite, The Nutcracker, which delighted over 15,000 viewers last year alone. This production, along with other ballets added to the repertoire over the years, has brought pride to local performers and quality entertainment to the Madison community. These traditions continue today under the new name of Madison Ballet. Performing and teaching opportunities, as well as a heartfelt commitment to education, remain at the core of Madison Ballet's artistic vision.
Today, Madison Ballet means a chance for performers of all ages and backgrounds to develop talents and it gives audiences a chance to nurture their love of the arts.
