Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center was created with traditions of community service, education and entertainment for all ages in mind. The center opened its doors on On July 18, 1997 after nearly 60 years. It was designed by Wisconsin native and internationally renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938 as a cultural, governmental and recreational building. Between 1938 and 1958 Wright reworked the design several times before signing off on the final plans. The Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center is open to the public daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We invite you to take advantage of all Monona Terrace has to offer.
