Old World Wisconsin

Search Eagle Wisconsin

35 miles from Milwaukee in Eagle is Old World Wisconsin. A minature town filled with scenes of farm and village life re-created by real-life people. Fields are still plowed by farmers with antique farm equipment pulled by teams of oxen and horses. Daily chores are performed by the women and children such as planting gardens in the spring and stocking larders in the fall.

The recreated farmsteads and settlements represent German, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, Polish, Yankee, and African-American pioneers and are situated on nearly 600 acres of undeveloped country.. And at the crossroads village, you will get an up close and personal view of what an 1870's village had to offer.

Old World Wisconsin offers tours for everyone, from school field trips to adult tours to a summer day camp. cd
