Osceola

Osceola is located in Polk County between St Croix Falls and River Falls along Hwy 35 on the banks of the Lower St Croix National Scenic Riverway near Dresser, the Trollhaugen Ski Area, and Taylors Falls, MN. Since 1844, Osceola has evolved from a busy logging town to a steamboat manufacturing mecca to a pastoral farming community. Today, many visitors enjoy a wide variety of shops, restaurants, outdoor sports and activities. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,472, an increase of 397 since 1990.
