Park Falls is located in Price County between Phillips and Ashland along Hwy 13 on the banks of the Flambeau River near Chequamegon National Forest, Flambeau River State Forest, and Butternut Lake. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,255, an increase of 151 since 1990.
