Timber Trail Campground

Timber Trail Campground offers a total of 70 sites on 30 acres. We offer both spacious grass sites with mature trees and exceptional wooded sites. Group areas available for those traveling with others. Enjoy a beautiful campfire, stroll along the nature trails, a dip in our heated swimming pool and other activities

. The Ahnapee State Trail runs through the campground and extends 17 miles north from the campground to Sturgeon Bay and 15 miles south to Casco.

A short walk to the Ahnapee River offers fishing and canoeing. Bike and canoe rentals are available.

Charter boats are available for an unforgettable fishing trip on Lake Michigan. Once you are done fishing, we will freeze your fish (at no charge) until you are ready to check out.

The area offers beautiful scenery, sandy beaches cherry and apple picking, winery tours, art and craft shows, a saturday farmers market, unique shops and many other attractions.

A walk on the nearby Algoma boardwalk provides a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and the lighthouse.
