White Winter Winery is Wisconsin's newest winery. They feature mead, or honey wine, the worlds oldest fermented beverage. Mead gave the term "honeymoon" its name as honey wine was widely viewed as an enhancement of wedded bliss. Mead is available in their store as dry or sweet, and as blends of fruits such as blueberry, apple cider, raspberry, and other delicious local fruits. White Winter uses local woodland wildflower honeys.
