Situated in the centre of town, the Feathers Royal Hotel was originally an 18th century coaching inn. Accommodation is offered in the modern en-suite hotel bedrooms or self-catering in the prestigious Feathers apartments. The hotel's bedrooms all have private bathrooms and are equipped with telephone and colour television. There is a welcome tea and coffee tray and every room has a hairdryer and trouser press. The hotels modern self catering apartments overlook the courtyard and are either two or three bedroomed, each catering for up to six guests. All are fully equipped with all modern appliances. The apartments are normally let on a weekend or weekly basis, but are sometimes available for shorter stays.
