The majestic River Teifi, is over seventy miles long from its source in the Cambrian mountains past Tregaron to its estuary at Cardigan Bay. The river is home to salmon, sea trout (known locally as 'sewin'), brown trout and grayling. The main run for sea trout is from June to August, and for salmon from April to June for the Spring run with the main autumn run occuring towards the end of the season in late September / early October.
