Fraziers Bottom is located in Putnam County (Southern Region) and is part of the Charleston, West Virginia metropolitan area.


Near to the city is the Kanawha River which provides many fishing and boating opportunities. There are local shops in the area for all water activity needs.
The Chief Cornstalk WMA and the Mill Creek WMA are in the area for all outdoor nature viewing.
