Ghent West Virginia

Ghent is located in Raleigh County (Southern Region).

The city is full of outdoor activities at the Camp Creek State Forest and Park. There is plenty of camping in the forest area with many hiking paths, walking paths, and picnic areas in the park.

The nearby lake and the Winterplace Ski Resort are wonderful places to visit while in the area. The lake offers a great fishing and boating with many local shops in the area with merchandise available for all water activities. The ski area is wonderful, with a number of lifts and slopes varying in difficulty.
