St. Mary’s Medical Center provides advanced health care and preventative programs. It is a health education center for prevention programs including heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Screenings and outreach programs are also facilitated. The services offered include Regional Cancer Center, Regional Neuroscience Center, Breast Center, Weight Loss Surgery Center, Regional Sleep Center, Level II Trauma Center, Intensive Care, Maternity Care, Pain Relief Center and Rehabilitation services. St. Mary’s Medical Center is home to the School of Nursing and School of Radiography, both of which are affiliated with Marshall University. The Hospital has links to various associations such as American Medical Association, American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.
