The Summersville Lake Retreat provides fully equipped accommodations, RV field sites with hook-ups and tent sites and A-frame chalets constructed entirely from native hemlock. Each chalet offers a fully equipped kitchen with modern conveniences and full bath (some chalets have Jacuzzi tubs). The Retreat offers first floor bedrooms with king or queen size beds, living/dining area with futon and twin or full size beds in the loft. Full linen service provided for up to six guests. The amenities include horseshoe pits, volleyball court, clean restrooms with hot showers and trail access to the shore of the lake. Sea kayaks and canoes are provided. The area offers a variety of activities such as jet skiing, mountain biking, horseback riding, sky diving and golfing. Local attractions include the New River Gorge National Park, Gauley River National Recreation Area and Hawks Nest State Park.
