Elk Creek Ranch offers two different programs that can be taken separately or in combination with one another. The Ranch Program focuses on horseback riding and ranch work. The Trek Program concentrates on extensive wilderness backpacking. Both programs are centered in the Sunlight Valley. The buildings are all log structures, some of which date back the turn of the century. The Ranch also provides bunkhouses (all have full bathrooms), a boys' bunkhouse, and a recreational hall.
Other activities include pack trips, glacier skiing, and fishing.
