The Grey's river is located in west central Wyoming, west of
Star Valley, and encompasses over 470,000 acres. There are 31 camping sites with water available.
Game hunting is extremely popular in the deer and elk seasons, where success is moderately high. In the spring, bear hunting is popular. Coyotes, beaver and marten are trapped for fur. The major season for fishing is from January through November, where it is popular to fish for Cutthroat, Brook trout and Mountain Whitefish. There are special regulations along the river in certain places that fisherman need to pay special attention to. Main activities on the river include floating and kayaking on the lower Grey's River.
