Wyoming Medical Center is a community-owned, not-for-profit licensed 206- bed regional medical center which has served the citizens of Wyoming for more than 90 years.
Founded in 1911, the facility started as a small rural county hospital with limited reach. It has since grown to the State's largest medical facility and regional trauma center attracting patients from throughout Wyoming and beyond for procedures such as prostate seed implants to fight prostate cancer or to receive deep brain stimulation to reduce essential tremors, or to receive open heart surgery.
In addition to providing this local community with quality general medical and family care, including bringing nearly 700 new babies a year into our world, WMC offers an extensive range of medical specialities to care for Wyoming citizens who travel from smaller rural towns where specialized medicine is hard to come by.
