Oregon Trail Ruts State Historic Site

This site, one mile south on Wyoming Ave from junction Hwy 26, displays well-preserved examples of pioneer trails from the mid 1800s. Some of the ruts measure 5-6 feet deep. Footpaths next to the ruts was where muleteers and others walked alongside the wagons. Trails are self-guided, and no facilities are available on this site. Near Guernsey.
