Hatchet Resort is a self-contained resort sitting 7,000 feet above sea-level; the site is surrounded by mountain ranges rising in almost all directions. It provides log cabin accommodations with phones and televisions, large grassy areas, a restaurant, pizzeria, and an old west bar, a huge hot tub, and a general store with gas. The Hatchet offers several different types of lodging, from luxury to hunters cabins. Hatchet Grill serves mountain cuisine. Facilities for conferences, weddings, or family reunions are available. Local activities include hiking, fishing and river rafting, and snowmobiling. The resort arranges numerous guided activities on the adjacent Bridger-Teton National Forest or in nearby Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. For the guests who prefer to go unguided, the resort rents a variety of outdoor equipment.
