Tongue River

The Tongue River is located within the Bighorn National Forest. The river cuts through the east flanks of the mountains, and features a fascinating canyon. Access to hiking trails is provided.

Excellent fishing is available all year, and brave visitors can explore the under developed Tongue River Cave, south of the road terminus. The area is visited most often during the spring and fall.
