Edmonton

Edmonton is the capital of Alberta. It has a varied supply of natural resources, which helped to start the city and propel it to its current status. The town was also the starting point for prospectors rushing to the Klondike for gold. They would stock up on supplies before heading out. When they couldn't find any gold, they returned to Edmonton to start a life in the ever growing city. Though Edmonton's population continues to grow, the city has made a considerable effort not to lose its `green space.`
