Winefred Lake is situated in the heart of Alberta's boreal forest, 185 km (70 miles) southeast of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Winefred Lake boasts some of the finest trophy fishing in Alberta, consistently producing large Northern Pike and Walleye.
The lodge has have 4 rooms attached to the main lodge, each of which accommodates 4 people, with a private bathroom and shower in each unit. Or if you prefer, we have self-contained cabins on site. Two of the cabins have 3 bedrooms, while one has two bedrooms. The cabins have fridge, stove, cooking utensils, gas bar-b-que and everything else you would expect.
