Northwest Voyageurs Canoe and Kayak Club accommodates both canoeists and kayakers of all skill levels. From April to October it offers one of the most extensive paddling schedules in Alberta, with up to three different trips on every weekend, with trips ranging from quiet floats, to adrenaline pumping white water. Occasionally it also organizes longer sea kayaking trips on the west coast and wilderness adventures on northern rivers. It conducts social events such as monthly meetings, barbecues, skiing trips, surfing parties at West Edmonton Mall, and skating parties.
