Alaska Office of History and Archaeology

The Office of History and Archaeology works to preserve sites and buildings that reflect Alaska's heritage. The office also carries out the responsibilities of the State Historic Preservation Office. In addition, the office educates Alaskans and visitors about these non-renewable resources.
