Holitna River Lodge is one of Alaska's premier remote fishing and hunting lodges located due west of Anchorage and accessible only by float plane. This lodge consists of a main cabin and a smaller homesteaders cabin which caters to small groups or parties. The lodge is located in a remote area of Alaska known for awesome sport fishing and big game hunting. It offers fishing of all five species of salmon, arctic char, northern pike, dolly varden, grayling, and the exotic arctic sheefish. It also offers hunting of moose, caribou, brown bear, black bear, wolves and many other species of wildlife that are plentiful in the Holitna River area of the Taylor Mountains.
