Search New Stuyahok Alaska

New Stuyahok has been constructed at two elevations above the Nushagak River. The village has relocated downriver three times due to floods. Stuyahok appropriately means "going downriver place."

Today, New Stuyahok is a southern Yup'ik Eskimo village with Russian Orthodox influences. Regular and charter flights are available from Dillingham.
