The lake and surrounding streams are known for their runs of sockeye (red) salmon and a variety of other species including rainbow trout and lake trout. Bear viewing at the nearby stream and around the lake is common.
The Larson Lake Lodge, located in southcentral Alaska, is a handcrafted log building which contains 3 guest rooms. All rooms have a queen-size bed along with two twin-size in one of the rooms. Lodge capacity is 8 guests. All meals are provided. Breakfast offers a full range of foods, including cereals and home baked breads. Lunches are sandwiches with homemade salads, soups and breads. Dinner will primarily be grilled. The catch of the day will be grilled or beef, chicken or pork will be served.
