Hundreds of exotic and endangered species are bred and raised at the Animal House, a public zoological park on 100 acres near the county seat of Moulton. The zoo is home to more than 400 animals, including lions, tigers, deer, llamas, camels, bears, reptiles, primates and birds. Highlights include an exotic waterfowl lake, monkey island, children's zoo, alligator pond, South American Capybara Pool, miniature tropical rain forests and newborn nursery. Guided tours are provided for groups and individuals seven days a week. The Animal House is one of America's foremost exotic and endangered species animal breeding parks.
