In an area of heritage and an interesting past, Brundidge shows its city life with a major emphasis on its youth baseball. It is a major part of the way the city comes together. When the city was in its early years, it started off with the Johnston Peanut Butter Mill. This mill put out thousands of cans or peanut butter in its early production.
Brundidge is located in
Pike County (
Southeast Region), 40 miles NW of
Dothan along Highway 10 near Troy. This area puts it in the boundary lines for the Pike County High School. This high school being a county school allows for students from many different towns to interact.
