Since it was founded in 1965, this Museum has been the cultural repository of the art and history of Gadsden and Etowah County. The Museum houses an extensive permanent collection of artwork in all forms. The growing historical displays reveal our shared cultural heritage by presenting artifacts of daily living from by-gone days. The Museum is open to the public with a year-round schedule of programs and services. Its policy of free admission encourages people to visit as often as possible. Facilities are accessible to the handicapped. Group and school tours arranged upon request.
