This museum has dedicated a gallery to local Indian history in memory of the Cherokee and Creek Indians who were evicted from their homes and forced to travel the "Trail of Tears". The War room presents artifacts and depicts life in Guntersville in times of war. From the time of the brief Seminole Indian War in 1837 through World War's I and II and more recent conflicts in Korea and Vietnam, Guntersville men and women have served in various capacities. The War Room honors their service. The principal gallery of the Museum features donated paintings and traveling art exhibits. The Chapel building has hosted several fine musical programs and is also used for additional space as needed for art exhibits. A small gift shop is currently located in the main building.
