Birmingham Canoe Club (BBC) is an active canoe club with over 150 family memberships, offering enjoyment for canoeing, kayaking, and all other paddle sports. The club provides paddling instruction, safety training, organized paddling opportunities, monthly meetings, monthly newsletter, and social events. The class program includes incorporating beginning classes, intermediate classes, and safety classes. The club also offers an American Canoe Association (ACA) whitewater instructor certification course, for open boat and kayak instructors.
